Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift assignment at a rehabilitation clinic.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a rehabilitation center
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• TX PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
• BLS certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal treatment experience preferred
• Skilled in modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and cryotherapy
• Experience with gait training, therapeutic exercise, and patient education

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation
• Treats orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations
• Open to first-time travelers, though an interview is preferred before offer
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Not open to travel pairs or groups
• Former staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO auto-approved, and no RTO during the first week of orientation
