Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in Memphis, Tennessee. This outpatient clinic position involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, and fractures, within a team environment. The role requires collaboration with medical professionals and provides an opportunity to deliver effective therapy in an outpatient setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Contract physical therapists will treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting while working in conjunction with a team of therapists.
- Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries.
- Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams.
- Report patient progress to in-house doctors and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons.
- Provide assistance to center colleagues in identifying issues.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license for the state of Tennessee, at least 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist, and 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Experience treating strains, sprains, and fractures is highly desired. Experience treating 14-16 patients per day is highly desirable. Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and outpatient orthopedic settings is required.
