Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) at a healthcare facility located in Richmond, Virginia. This inpatient rehabilitation role involves providing specialized therapy services in a 36-bed unit, focusing on neuro, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury cases. Job Details
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends; 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist, inpatient rehabilitation experience with Care Tool, neuro, ortho, TBI, SCI, estim, and other modalities; CPR and BLS certifications; at least 3 years of relevant experience; locational requirement in Richmond, VA
- Preferred Qualifications: Stroke certification, UDS quality certification, experience with portable and in-room lifts, FES, Bioness equipment, pet therapy, and supportive therapies
- Additional Information: The unit is equipped with several portable and in-room lifts for patient mobility, FES, Bioness equipment, and offers a supportive therapy team, pet therapy, and an active stroke committee support group. The department fosters a positive environment with frequent food celebrations and opportunities for professional growth.
