Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30). One weekend per month is required, along with holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with all levels of spinal cord injuries/disorders, as well as any neurological disorders or similar presentations. This position requires proficiency in the use of special equipment, such as Hoyer lifts and body weight supported devices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with various diagnoses, including spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions and educate patients and families on care plans.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant physical therapy experience.
• Current MD license and BLS certification are required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
