Position Description:
Provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment; outpatient, inpatient, and home care services, including supervision of physical therapist assistants (NO long-term care). Utilizes equipment such as Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Ultrasound, and Tractium Ionto.
Required Qualifications:
MN Physical Therapist License, BLS Certification, at least 1 year of experience in orthopedic and rehabilitation skills, and ability to work in an acute care setting. This role is scheduled for 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and holiday rotation, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Training for Electronic Medical Record systems; flexibility to float to other units/departments as needed.
Additional Information:
Training on Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC) will be provided as needed; supervision and support available from management at all times. The unit is a well-equipped outpatient department with a wellness center and has a 15-bed hospital capacity. Dress code is casual, with scrubs or business casual attire preferred.
