Physical Therapist Inpatient in Bismarck This role involves providing pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments in both school-based and hospital-based outpatient environments. The position requires collaboration with support staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients from birth to 21 years of age.

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BS in Physical Therapy, North Dakota Physical Therapist license, BLS (American Heart Association) CPR certification, current drivers license with a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, totaling 40 hours per week.
  • Position Description: Provide pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments, including developmental and orthopedic assessments, gait evaluations, orthotic and equipment needs, and patient/parent/caregiver support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within an electronic medical record system. Work independently in school-based and outpatient outpatient settings, collaborating with case managers and support staff, with occasional home or daycare visits.
  • Additional Information: Experience with pediatric therapy equipment and familiarity with assessments such as Peabody, Bruininks-Oseretsky, GMFM, and School Function Assessment preferred. Knowledge of Epic/One Chart electronic medical record is required. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams, including a pediatric physiatrist, and may include co-treatments and mentorship for Epic/One Chart training.
  • Submission Requirements: License to submit, and will need to provide proof of certifications.
