Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, demonstrating strong time management and independent working skills over a scheduled period. The assignment runs from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027, with a standard workweek of 40 hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (including compact license acceptable), BLS certification, at least 0 years of experience.
- Skills: Experience with acute care, assessment, patient family education, gait training, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurology, and other modalities relevant to inpatient physical therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings for adult and geriatric populations, including community hospital experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have good time management skills and be able to work independently as the only therapist on weekends in an acute inpatient setting. Flexibility to float between nearby facilities may be required. Candidates should be prepared to work a combination of weekdays and holidays as specified.
