Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location: Hawaii. This position involves providing therapeutic physical therapy services to residents in Acute Rehabilitation and secondary Intensive Care Facility/Skilled Nursing Facility Rehab settings. The role requires evaluating and re-evaluating residents or patients, planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the attending physician or consulting specialist, and offering consulting physical therapist services. The candidate must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary, with primary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation.

Job Details:

  • Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii license by start of assignment; minimum 6 months work experience in at least one of the following settings working with adults (acute, rehab hospital, skilled nursing facility); Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, variable times including Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
