Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, at a well-established healthcare organization. This role involves providing exceptional rehabilitative services within an inpatient setting, supporting patient recovery and functional improvement. The position offers a flexible schedule with regular weekday hours and one weekend shift per month.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the flexibility to adjust as needed. One weekend day per month with a flex day during the week if working the weekend.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy, valid state licensure, at least 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, experience in inpatient care preferred, and must be located at least 60 miles away from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedics, neuro, general medical, or critical care settings such as Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) is advantageous. Prior acute care experience is preferred but not required.
  • Orientation: Weekly orientation sessions conducted on Mondays.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be fingerprinted and provide documentation for background checks in accordance with New Mexico state requirements. The department has a highly experienced team, with staff members boasting 25 or more years of service.
