Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient, Bradenton, FL. This position provides physical therapy services across inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and use of adaptive devices and equipment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; willingness to work on an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) unit; critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) experience; stroke or neurological experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position supports patients in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and use of adaptive devices and equipment. Weekend and holiday rotation is required, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees. A flexible, collaborative, team-oriented approach is preferred.
