Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient in Bradenton, FL. This position provides physical therapy services across inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and use of adaptive devices and equipment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift; 10-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; willingness to work in an inpatient rehabilitation facility; critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience; stroke or neurological experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role includes patient evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and use of adaptive devices and equipment. A flexible, collaborative, team-oriented approach is preferred. Weekend and holiday coverage is scheduled in rotation with facility employees.
