Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring HCHB and OASIS experience along with at least 1 year of recent experience.

Details

  • Home health setting covering the Mossyrock & Morton area
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Average patient load of 5-7 per day
  • Patient population is primarily geriatric with orthopedic and neurologic conditions
  • On-call rotation required approximately every 6th weekend
  • Uses HCHB EMR system, experience required
  • OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care assessments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent relevant experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • HCHB proficiency required
  • OASIS experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • License must be in-hand at time of submission
  • Active driver's license and personal transportation required
  • Experience with orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, post-op joint replacements, and spinal conditions
  • Experience with neurologic conditions such as stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, and MS preferred
  • Skilled in home exercise programs and patient/family education

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include timely documentation and communication with the care team
  • Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
  • Orientation begins on Monday and includes completion of billable training modules
  • Hospice/Home Health checklist completion is mandatory
  • Dress code is scrubs in any color, no jeans permitted
  • iPad provided; personal cell phone use not required for the role
  • Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
  • Not open to first-time travelers
  • Local candidates are not accepted
  • Travel pairs accepted, but each traveler is assigned to their own territory and must have independent transportation
  • Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
  • Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
