Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health float position requiring 1 year of home care experience and an active MA PT license.

Details

  • Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
  • Covers South Region towns including Avon, Braintree, Canton, Holbrook, Mattapan, Milton, Quincy, Randolph, and Stoughton
  • Patient population ranges from infants to centenarians with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
  • Shift schedule is 08:00-16:30
  • Weekend rotation occurs once every 6 weeks
  • Must be able to travel to cases as assigned
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
  • Ability to collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals
  • Thorough and timely electronic documentation skills required

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include coordinating care and services to meet patient needs in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with a reduced rate applying
