Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health float position requiring an active Massachusetts PT license and 1 year of certified home health care experience.

Details

Home health setting providing physical therapy to patients in their place of residence throughout the North Region including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Boston, Cambridge, Charlestown, Chinatown, Fenway, Financial District, Kenmore, North End, Prudential, South Boston, South End, and West End
13-week assignment with an 08:00-16:30 schedule
Weekend rotations required once every 6 weeks
Ability to travel to assigned cases required
Uses Epic for charting
Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
Minimum 1 year of certified home health care experience required, specifically within a certified home health agency
Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
Hospice, private care, or standalone case management experience does not meet the certified home health care experience requirement
Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

Provide physical therapy services to patients ranging in age from birth to over 100 years with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
Start date is contingent on credentialing clearance; delays may result in a rescheduled start date
No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
