Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health float position requiring 1 year of home care experience and MA licensure.

Details

• Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
• Float position covering North Region locations including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
• Treats patients ranging in age from birth to over 100 years with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
• Schedule is 08:00-16:30
• 13-week assignment
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned across covered locations
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience required
• AHA certifications only
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
• Responsible for thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• RTO must be identified at time of consideration
