Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position in the Sacramento area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience.

Details

• Home health setting covering the Sacramento area, with potential travel to surrounding counties
• Patient population includes geriatric home health patients requiring wound care
• Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a 40-hour guarantee
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements, though discretionary on-call may be available
• Uses Kinnser/Wellsky for charting, which must be completed on-site and cannot be taken home
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Current state license required in hand at time of consideration; no license hits accepted; license required if applicable
• No pending licenses accepted
• Current driver's license required
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance
• OASIS experience preferred
