Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring Home Health experience and BLS certification.

Details

Home Health setting within a Post-Acute Services department
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
No on-call requirements
Clinician may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, with mileage reimbursed
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Current BLS certification required
PT state license required if applicable
PTA certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
Home Health experience required
Pending state license accepted, must be obtained prior to starting
Recent Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

Candidates must complete a Cardiac Dysrhythmia pass/fail test on the first day of orientation with only one attempt allowed
All requested time off must be submitted upfront prior to consideration, as requests made afterward will not be accommodated
Local candidates are not accepted due to a 75-mile radius requirement
Attendance policy in place: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
Previous permanent staff members are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
