Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least one year of home health experience and OASIS training/experience to provide care within a 50-mile radius of Fredericksburg.

Details

  • Home health setting providing patient care in the community
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with one weekend per shift per month and comp time offered during the week
  • Uses HCHB EMR; experience preferred but training provided during orientation if pending
  • Coverage area within a 50-mile radius from the Fredericksburg office
  • Workers assigned to a home location with floating to other locations discussed as needed

Requirements

  • BLS certification required (hands-on only, cannot be obtained virtually)
  • Minimum one year of home health experience required
  • OASIS experience or training required
  • License required if applicable
  • Negative TB test required; chest x-rays not accepted as an alternative

Additional Information

  • All necessary hardware, including tablet and phone, will be provided
  • Clean, professional-looking scrubs required for dress code
  • Should expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
  • Requests for time off should be submitted early, with a preference for no RTO during the first few weeks of the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Open to first-time travelers
