Description

Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role offers competitive weekly pay up to $2,475 and comprehensive benefits while delivering care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in skilled nursing and LTC settings, assessing needs and creating individualized treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and ongoing care strategies to promote recovery and independence.
  • Execute therapy sessions during scheduled shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety protocols.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
    • Arizona PT license, CPR certification, BLS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in skilled nursing and long-term care settings
    • AZ fingerprints and background clearance
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Physical ability to perform therapy duties
