Job Summary:
This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is located in Humansville, Missouri. The role involves supporting rehabilitation interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will administer various treatment procedures, assess patient progress, communicate effectively with the health team, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure regulatory and clinical compliance.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure for Missouri, at least 1 year of PTA experience, experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities, PTA license is required, and candidates must meet the posted rate. New graduates with Level II experience are considered.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care settings.
  • Additional Information: Ability to work with supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies per regulatory and clinical standards. Support and supervise students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Adherence to American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics is required.
