Job Details
- Position: PT Assistant or potentially Physical Therapist, outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Location: Roanoke, VA, with possible support at Roanoke Salem, VA, as needed for sickness or paid time off. The clinics are approximately 20 minutes apart.
- Schedule: Alternating shifts of 7:00 AM4:00 PM and 9:30 AM6:30 PM. The weekly schedule includes 5 days of 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist, licensure as required by the state, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Over 1 year of experience, new graduates may be considered following an interview.
- Patient Load and Types of Cases: Approximately 11 patient visits per day, including sports medicine, geriatric, orthopedic, and womens health patients.
- Documentation System: NextGen.
- Additional Information: Dress code is Business Casual. Clinicians are supported by AI technology to assist with clinical documentation, enabling focus on patient care. Floating may be required at Roanoke Salem for PTO or sick days, with an estimated coverage of 5%.
