Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant Physical Therapist Outpatient Aberdeen, MD. This outpatient role provides physical therapy support for general orthopedic patients, including workers compensation cases, postoperative patients, athletes, gait and balance needs, external pelvic floor stabilization, and pediatric patients. The role includes flexible weekday scheduling, clinical support from rehabilitation aides, and access to an Artificial Intelligence documentation scribe.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Strong outpatient physical therapy skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; ability to work independently and become productive quickly. Interest or experience in treating pediatric patients is preferred.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week. No weekends; two closing shifts may extend until 7:00 PM. The schedule is otherwise flexible.
- Additional Information: The caseload includes approximately 5055 visits per week involving general orthopedic patients, workers compensation cases, postoperative patients, athletes, gait and balance needs, external pelvic floor stabilization, and pediatrics. Rehabilitation aides and front desk support are available during patient hours. Business-casual attire is required; sneakers and neat joggers are acceptable. The role may provide an opportunity for temporary-to-permanent placement. The Artificial Intelligence documentation scribe supports real-time clinical documentation while clinicians remain focused on patient care. The anticipated start date is 11/16/2026.
