TRAVEL PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitative therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care experience preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Provide gait training, transfer training, mobility exercises, and balance interventions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Assist patients in achieving functional goals and improving independence
- Adhere to all professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements

- Guaranteed 35 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
