**Join the Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** LP Sovah Health Danville (OP), Danville, VA - **Position Type:** Full-time, Day Shift - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 40 - **Unit Profile:** - Operates within the YMCA of Danville, specializing in sports medicine and rehabilitation. - Patient Population: Adults - Patient Ratios: 1:1 - **Role & Responsibilities:** - Provide therapeutic exercise and manual correction techniques. - Work collaboratively with patients to enhance their recovery. - Engage with various patient diagnoses, including: - Back pain - Neck pain - TMJ - Vestibular issues - Pelvic floor dysfunction - Lymphedema - Balance and gait deficits - Stroke recovery - **Required Qualifications:** - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Virginia - Willingness to learn and adopt new techniques - **Preferred Skills/Experience:** - Experience in pelvic health, lymphedema, and manual therapy - **Work Environment:** - Dynamic and supportive atmosphere led by Supervisor Wendy Bunch. - Utilize state-of-the-art equipment for rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises. - EHR: REDOC XFIT - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Any color, casual business attire permitted. - Unacceptable: Blue jeans Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
