Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a healthcare facility in Humansville, Missouri. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure in Missouri; one year of PTA experience; long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience; PTA license; submission at posted rate; new graduates with Level II experience are welcome
Ability to work with supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements
Participation in meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
Adherence to American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and State practice acts, ethics, and code of conduct
Ability to supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
