Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and both inpatient and outpatient coverage.

Details

  • Acute Care Hospital setting with a critical access facility type
  • Patient ratio of 1:5-10
  • Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday-Thursday 7:20am-5:50pm
  • Position floats between units based on need
  • Requires working in acute care at one facility then traveling approximately 23 miles to a second facility for outpatient coverage in the afternoon
  • No call or weekend requirements
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • WA state PT license required, license required if applicable
  • Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
  • Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings
  • Scrub color is unrestricted for RN/Allied staff
  • No parking fees at the facility
  • Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
  • Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
  • Returning staff may be eligible to return after a 3-month break, subject to distance requirements from the facility
  • Local radius guideline of 50 miles
  • Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
  • First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience for this role
