Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a medical center in Colorado, working Monday through Friday in a multi-setting rehabilitation role.

Details

• Works across multiple care settings including inpatient, outpatient, and swing beds
• Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage required for inpatient and swing bed evaluations
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program required
• Current Colorado PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment and provide hands-on patient care
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver patients and equipment of 20+ lbs, with or without assistance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently across varied patient populations

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, reassessment, and documentation for a diverse patient population including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Maintains patient records including progress reports, daily notes, and special reports
• Responsible for supervision and instruction of Physical Therapist Assistants, supportive staff, volunteers, and students
• Reports directly to the Rehabilitation Department Manager
• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and potential for extended hours based on patient need
