Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and IRF or SNF background.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds, treating patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (no younger than 13)
• Patient ratio of 7 to 1
• Utilizes specialized equipment including EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems
• EHR systems used include UDS and Epic
• Day shift schedule from 7:00am to 4:30pm
• Weekend coverage required approximately once a month
• No call or floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• IRF or SNF experience required
• Experience treating neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac diagnoses
• Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic required
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
