Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1+ years of experience for an outpatient setting focused on orthopedic care.

Details

• Outpatient setting with 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient workload
• 8 Hour Days, Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm
• 8-12 patients treated per day in 30 to 45 minute blocks
• Patient population includes 90% orthopedics and 5-10% general weakness and neurological cases
• Covers acute care and swing bed, with inpatient work typically limited to evaluations followed by PTA coverage
• Uses Cerner EMR, currently transitioning to Epic
• Minimal weekend requirements, approximately once every 2-3 months for 1-3 hours
• No holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• License required if applicable
• 2 current references required: 1 from a supervisor and 1 from a peer or supervisor

Additional Information

• Works alongside 1 Rehab Aide and under the supervision of the OT Manager
• Clean and professional workplace attire or scrubs required
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates must live within 80 miles of the facility to be considered local
• Previous Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
