Temporary Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a temporary traveler Physical Therapist to provide coverage following the retirement of a valued team member. You will join a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and work-related injuries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-hour patient evaluations and deliver 45-minute daily treatments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation using EPIC.

Schedule

This position is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Alternatively, the schedule can be adjusted to 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for those preferring a 36-hour workweek.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure is required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
