This may involve outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics and in off-site locations. Services the patients as a part of the entire continuum of professional care Essential Job Functions Evaluates patients, gathering pertinent information from various sources, and develops an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals. Responsible for ongoing assessment, efficiency of treatment plan and revisions of plan as needed. Provides direct therapy to patients on a daily basis. Provides instruction in therapeutic procedures to patients and family Maintains accurate and concise records on treatment provided and patient's progress. Provides timely co-signature for supervised PTA's. Maintains set level of productivity without jeopardizing quality. Delivers efficient and effective care to patients meeting and exceeding department standards Maintains departmental policies and procedures regarding safety, infection control, time off requests and timecard recording. Dysrhythmia Exam Not Required Must have BLS, Physical Therapist License At least 1 year of acute care exp required, open to considering new gradsM-F- 8HR Day ShiftNo on call, No weekends or OTITO will prescreen, manager will interview/offerUnit Specific DetailsPatient Population - Orthopedic patients, postoperative joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, mild neurological conditions, geriatric, Cardiac and step down unitFor eight hour shift looking at 10 12 patients a day. Very normal to other outpatient facilities.Transfer equipment (Sara Steady, Hoyer)Pewter Gray Scrubs*All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility.
