Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (Inpatient) for a position located in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves providing therapy services across various hospital units, including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical care. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with four ten-hour days, including weekends.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, including Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility on the third and fourth days.
  • Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy; Illinois Physical Therapist License; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute setting; current Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
  • Certifications: BLS (AHA).
  • Setting: Inpatient hospital coverage across multiple departments including ortho, neuro, trauma, and post-surgical units.
  • Additional Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Notes: Flexible scheduling around the third and fourth days; candidate must understand the organizations drug-free campus policy and produce a negative drug screen; must include Saturday and Sunday shifts.
