Physical Therapist Outpatient in West Hills, California. This outpatient position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring patient progress towards discharge. Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; current CPR certification; active and applicable license for California; outpatient experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Successful previous assignment with the agency or with the organization is highly desired; successful completion of an assignment with the organization is nice to have.
- Clinical Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, documenting medical records accurately and timely, and providing care under signed physician orders within insurance approval.
- Educational Responsibilities include participating in student programs, providing supervision, and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Creating a personalized development plan, pursuing ongoing education, and actively engaging in professional organizations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to State Practice Act and other regulatory agencies, maintaining licensure in good standing, and completing mandated continuing education.
- Performance Improvement: Understanding and engaging with organizational performance initiatives, offering feedback, and contributing to quality enhancement.
- Behavior Characteristics: Demonstrates teamwork, resourcefulness, safety awareness, ethical practice, and commitment to organizational Core Values.
