Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient for a travel assignment in a critical access facility. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient therapy services, with responsibilities across multiple units, including travel between two hospitals approximately 23 miles apart.
Job Details
- Position Description: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) job, working in acute care with the ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and travel between two hospitals in Washington.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Current BLS certification, Washington license, at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in inpatient settings, with familiarity in acute care and outpatient therapy.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: The role requires working in acute care environments, providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, patient education, and documenting care in Epic charting system. Candidates must be flexible to travel between facilities and work both inpatient and outpatient.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care settings, outpatient therapy, and working with diverse diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric cases.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work experience at Providence facilities and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
