Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a day shift travel assignment in a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring 1+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Physical Therapy department setting within a 245-bed hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric cases
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Rotating holiday coverage expected

Requirements

• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in Physical Therapy
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in employment exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with client-approved exemptions only

Additional Information

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts
• Work as part of a patient-focused, team-oriented environment
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Located at a Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center with Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Primary Stroke Center certifications
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transition to a facility outside the radius
