Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab unit, requiring BLS certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
• Adult patient population with common diagnoses including neuro, ortho, cardiac, and falls
• Patient ratio of 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 assistants and a rehab tech
• Utilizes specialized equipment including Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody
• EHR system used is UDS
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekend shifts available on request
• Float option to sister facility located 8 miles away

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Strong time management skills required
• Experience with point of care documentation required
• Knowledge of GG Scoring required
• License required if applicable
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active licensure required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Facility provides highly specialized care and advanced treatment for patients recovering from injury or illness
• Wine-colored scrubs required
• Parking available in any non-visitor designated area in front or back lots
• Candidates cannot reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
