Position Overview
The Outpatient Physical Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients with orthopedic, post-operative, vestibular, TMJ, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans, delivers evidence-based interventions, and works toward improving patient mobility, function, and quality of life.
Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred. Pelvic health experience is a plus but is not required.
Patient Population
The clinic treats a diverse outpatient population, including:
- Typical orthopedic conditions
- Post-operative patients
- Vestibular disorders
- TMJ conditions
- Pelvic health patients, preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Treat approximately 12–14 patients per day.
- Manage a productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week.
- Double-book follow-up visits as required by clinic workflow.
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge information accurately.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered outpatient rehabilitation services.
Schedule & Hours
- 5×8-hour day shifts
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Overtime must receive director approval before any OT hours are worked.
- No floating to other clinics is required.
Candidate Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
- Strong orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation skills.
- Pelvic health, vestibular, or TMJ experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, clinical reasoning, and patient-management skills.
Traveler Requirements
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
- New graduates are not accepted.
- Candidates must have prior travel experience and relevant clinical experience.
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be paid at the applicable local rate.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced outpatient Physical Therapist with strong orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation skills who can manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 12–14 patients per day. Experience with vestibular, TMJ, or pelvic health patients is highly desirable, while pelvic health experience is not mandatory.
