Pay Range: $42.50 – $50.00 / hour ($2,000.00 / week)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Augusta, GA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality physical therapy care to residents within a specialized nursing facility, evaluating patient needs, restoring mobility, and facilitating restorative care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for residents.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual interventions to improve mobility, strength, and balance.
- Educate residents, families, and healthcare staff on restorative care strategies and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient care documentation in accordance with state guidelines and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or BSPT).
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Georgia State Physical Therapist license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical physical therapy experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or clinical environment.
- Skills: Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient-centered treatment skills.
