Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care, excellence in clinical practice, and professional development. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to lead therapy services, educate others, and embody the core values of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and physician directives.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and coworkers on treatment methods and safety practices.
• Participate in developing a positive learning environment for students in clinical settings.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical practices as outlined in the State Practice Act.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to improving service quality.
• Promote patient and employee safety in accordance with organizational guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience in orthopedic therapy is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and valid state licensure for Physical Therapy.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 5x8.0 shift schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
