Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care

Nashville, Tennessee

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week acute care contract in Nashville, Tennessee. This hospital-based opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative rehab team helping adult patients regain mobility, strength, and independence during their recovery.

This is a great fit for a PT who enjoys a fast-paced acute care environment, interdisciplinary teamwork, and helping patients safely transition to their next level of care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiac, and medically complex conditions.
Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
Assist with discharge planning and patient/caregiver education.
Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
