Job Summary:
The position of Inpatient Physical Therapist is based in a rehabilitative unit located in Cypress, Texas. This role involves providing patient-centered therapy to individuals with various rehabilitation needs, ensuring quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The therapist will work on a 12-hour day shift, supporting the recovery and functional improvement of diverse patient populations.
Job Details:
- Location: Cypress, TX
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Texas license, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, at least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience, relevant education or certification in Physical Therapy
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic medical record system, flexibility to float to other rehab sites if census is low, passion for rehab and treating patients with various levels of needs
- Additional Information:
- Unit provides skilled therapy services with a patient caseload of 4-6 patients
- Typical procedures include skilled therapy interventions
- Must adhere to unit dress code, with navy scrubs or similar attire
- Flexibility required for rotating weekends and on-call shifts
