Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) opportunity in a mid-sized healthcare facility located in Austin, Texas. This position involves providing acute care therapy services on a day shift schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a focus on cardiac and general rehabilitation. Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), three years of relevant experience, acute care experience including ICU/CCU, and acute cardiac care experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Wound care certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 72-bed inpatient setting with a patient ratio of 2 PTs, 1 OT, and PRN speech therapists. The team is highly experienced, with staff having 15 and 30+ years of clinical practice, including wound care certification. The hospital supports staff development with new equipment and technology, and communication is facilitated through mobile technology.
