Travel Pharmacy Technician II – Oncology

Location: Canton, GA

Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,320/week
Total Pay Rate: $33/hour
W2 Taxable Pay: $8.00/hour
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,000/week
Overtime Pay: $30/hour (after 40 hours worked)
Schedule
Shift: 8-Hour Days
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacy Technician II to join a high-volume Oncology Clinic in Canton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding and will work closely with pharmacists to prepare, compound, and dispense medications while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician medication orders.
Prepare and compound hazardous medications and chemotherapy under USP and facility guidelines.
Package, label, and distribute medications accurately and safely.
Maintain inventory and assist with medication storage and stock management.
Follow all hazardous drug handling, infection control, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records.
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Requirements
Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician Registration (Required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
Required experience with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding
Oncology pharmacy experience strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient oncology environment
Important Information
Travel candidates only (No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.)
13-week travel assignment
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
