Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role involves accurately filling orders, preparing extemporaneous preparations, and managing inventory control. Responsibilities include handling distribution and returns, supporting departmental goals, preparing sterile IV solutions, and maintaining automated dispensing machines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of IV equipment, sterile techniques, and safe handling of hazardous drugs. Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years)
- Previous oncology/infusion center experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
