Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 4x10 Schedule (40 hrs/week) | Shift times: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM with occasional rotation to 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM for night/midnight PTO coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding in accordance with applicable standards and protocols
- Handle and compound hazardous drugs following established safety procedures
- Operate and manage automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell)
- Support medication reconciliation processes across the facility
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing and distribution of medications
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration as required by state
- Hands-on experience with sterile compounding
- Experience with hazardous drug handling and compounding
- Proficiency with automated dispensing cabinet systems (Omnicell preferred)
- Experience with medication reconciliation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting
- Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules including overnight coverage
