Contract | 13 Weeks | Variable 10-hour shifts (10.5 hours with lunch) starting at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM | Days, Evenings & Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Function under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations
- Assist in the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to designated hospital areas
- Prepare unit dose exchange systems and IV admixtures
- Perform inventory management, stocking, and ordering of pharmacy supplies
- Transport pharmaceuticals throughout the facility
- Carry out all activities in accordance with state/federal and DEA regulations, TJC standards, and applicable hospital policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
- Minimum 1–2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
