Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas
- Identify, prepare, package, and label medications including sterile products under pharmacist supervision
- Deliver medications to patients and patient care areas in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
- Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required (must be obtained by June 28, 2026)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
