Key Responsibilities

• Rotate between 1st shift (approximately 0730–1600) and 2nd shift (approximately 1400–2230), including every other weekend
• Participate in on-call rotation in conjunction with scheduled shifts
• Perform IV preparation and compounding as a core function of the role — IV experience is required
• Register with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy prior to start date (as Certified Registered, Registered, or Registered Trainee, depending on qualifications)
• Float within the hospital campus, potentially including an additional satellite location

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician License required at time of submission — pending licenses will not be accepted, no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy technology
• IV experience required
• Must be able to register with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy prior to start date
• No previous license hits on background record
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local; local rates will apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Prior experience in a pediatric or large acute care hospital setting
