Travel Pharmacy Tech - $1,370 per week in Madison, WI

License: Pharmacy Technician Registration Required Certifications: CPhT, High School Diploma or Equivalent Must-Have: Inpatient experience including sterile compounding (within the last 6 months). Description: Nights, rotating 10-hour shifts. Includes weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Will accept up to 26 weeks if traveler is interested. Collaborate with pharmacy team members and utilize various pharmacy technologies and automation. Prepare sterile compounds under appropriate processes and procedures. Dispense, compound, and deliver medications throughout the facility. Contribute to inventory management. Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care through medication management. The ideal candidate will be team-motivated. They must pay high attention to detail. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment is essential. Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred. Travelers are required to float as needed. Minimum experience requirement for travelers is two years of acute care experience in specialty. Pass/Fail testing required with strict passing criteria for telemetry exam. Travelers will have two attempts to pass the exams. If the traveler fails the second attempt, a certification of completion for a cardiac interpretation review course will be required. Failure to pass after three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment.
