We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inpatient Pharmacist to join a hospital-based pharmacy team in Whittier, CA. This full-time, night shift role is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for hospitalized patients by reviewing, verifying, and dispensing medications in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:Review and verify physician orders for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential interactions
Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and state/federal regulations
Provide drug information and consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Monitor patient responses to medications and recommend dosage adjustments as needed
Ensure compliance with sterile compounding (IV) procedures
Document all interventions and maintain accurate pharmacy records
Participate in clinical rounds and support interdisciplinary care plans
Assist with medication inventory, restocking, and quality assurance processes
